Motorbike

Keiko & SuzieSuzuki 650

1 Cylinder, 4 Strokes, 60MPG, a lot of fun,  - AND GOING GREEN :).

That describes my "other" ride, a Suzuki 650 "Savage!"

How did that come about?  The daily US$15 for gas in my Nissan Altima (25MPG) was getting to me, and Makoto ("son No. 1") got his mototcycle license.  That gave me "the idea!"

I returned to riding motor-bikes after a 33 year absence.

Getting my feet wet again, I am ever so lucky & grateful to Eduardo for helping me.

Truth be told, he did not help me putting the bike together, as much as letting me stay out of his hair while HE was doing all the work in the most gracious way.

Also, thanks to Aaron at www.bethebestrider.com. who made my first few miles after a 33 year motor-cycle absence very pleasurable.

Best ride between airplanes, boats, and places you want to go to (and burning only 42% of the gas I used to burn before with my "Nissan Altima").

On a different note ... if in Nassau COunty, NY, look up "Cycle Concepts of NY" if you have any needs to take care of your motorbike.
