What to bring to the Aircraft Dispatch Exam!

  •

.... and here is the list:
    • filled in 8400-3
      • signed and dated by the school (not more than 90 days ago)
      • make sure the address on the 8400-3 is where you want the license to be sent
      • make sure the information is corroborated, i.e. if your license or passport says that you are 5ft 8" you are not 69" (do not make yourself taller or smaller!) ... (see below for conversions)
      • if the address is a P.O. Box, I need a
        • separate detailed written description of where you live, how one gets there, and
        • a corresponding drawing (I suggest a "maps.google.com" printout).
    • a letter of graduation that shows the number of hours you were trained (not older than that 90 days)
    • a graduation certificate
    • your written exam (not older than 24 calendar months)
    • at least two unexpired and valid government issued IDs, one of the two preferably being a passport
    • proof of whatever citizenship you have (passport, birth-certificate, Merchant Mariner card, etc.)
    • if a non US citizen, copy of your unexpired visa, and your passport must show that you are taking the exam within the permitted time of your stay in the USA
If you have dual citizenship, do not enter one citizenship on the 8400-3, and bring the passport of the second citizenship to the exam. The nationalities of the passport and 8400-3 have to correspond!

Your names on the IDs have to correspond, with what you have on the 8400-3, written exam, graduation certificate, and letter of the school!

Please be on time, bring all your utensils to do a flight plan with for the exam, and chances are that there will be little or nothing you'll encounter, that you have not heard before, and know by now.
